Half Marathon Run Course: 13.1 Miles
The PROVO HALLOWEEN HALF MARATHON will start at 9:00AM on the famous Alpine Loop about 2.5 miles past Sundance Resort at over 7,000 ft elevation.
Alpine Loop
General Course Description
The run course will travel on Alpine Loop Rd headed southbound in the northbound lane (this is the left side of the road which will be closed to traffic) from Provo Canyon.
The run will finish in the Ron Last Park on 250 West and at approximately 5400 North. Sprint to the FINISH!
Aid Stations/Restrooms
Aid Stations offering water will be located at across from Sundance Resort at about mile 2.6.
Provo Canyon Rd
General Course Description
Once Alpine Loop intersects Provo Canyon, runners will cross to the south side of Provo Canyon Rd while Highway Patrol closes the road for your HALLOWEEN enjoyment! Runners will then turn right and run toward Provo. The far lane will be closed next to the shoulder for runners.
Once Runners approach the tunnel(s), the Runners will go to the left of the tunnels on the “old highway.”
Aid Station/Restrooms
Restrooms will be located along Provo Canyon Rd immediately after crossing the highway and Aid Stations and Restrooms will be located to the south of the tunnels.
South Fork Rd, Provo River Pkwy, 5200 North & Provo River Trail
General Course Description
Once Runners reach South Fork Rd, they will take a left and stay to the right. Immediately after entering South Fork Road, Runners will find a small parking lot to the right with the Provo River Parkway Trail Entrance. Volunteers and signs will guide you. Runners will stay on the Provo River Parkway Trail until they reach 5200 North. At 5200 North, runners will turn right then right again onto the Provo River Trail. The race will FINISH in the Ron Last Park!
Aid Station/Restrooms
An Aid Station and Restrooms will be located immediately before entering the Provo River Parkway Trail. in the Paalong Provo Canyon Rd immediately after crossing the highway and Aid Stations and Restrooms will be located to the south of the tunnels.

Race FINISH
General Course Description
The run will finish in the Ron Last Park on 250 West and at approximately 5400 North. Sprint to the FINISH!
Aid Stations/Restrooms
Water and fruit will be located at the FINSIH!
Restrooms will be located within 50 yards of the FINISH for Runners and Spectators.
