Full Marathon Run Course: 26.2 Miles

The Full Marathon will start in 3 waves with the Half Marathon. You will need to register for the correct wave to ensure you are not stopped by Highway Patrol during scheduled road openings during the run.
Alpine Loop
General Course Description
The run course will travel on Alpine Loop Rd headed southbound in the northbound lane (this is the left side of the road which will be closed to traffic) to Provo Canyon.
Aid Stations/Restrooms
Aid Stations offering water will be located at across from Sundance Resort at about mile 2.7.
Provo Canyon Rd
General Course Description
Once Alpine Loop intersects Provo Canyon Rd, runners will cross to the south side of Provo Canyon Rd while Highway Patrol closes the road for your HALLOWEEN enjoyment! Runners will then turn left and run toward Deer Creek Reservoir for approximately 4.9 miles. Across for the State Park Marina, runners will turn around and run towards Provo (down the canyon). At the turn around will be a check point where you will collect a sticker for your bib to show you passed this point. The right northbound lane will be closed next to the shoulder for runners. Full Marathon Runners must run to the left on this out and back section so there will not be intersecting runners at the mouth of the Alpine Loop.
Once Runners approach the tunnel(s), the Runners will go to the left of the tunnels on the “old highway.”
Aid Station/Restrooms
Restrooms and Aid Stations will be located along Provo Canyon Rd in four areas: a pullout shortly after turning onto Provo Canyon Rd that will serve Runners on both the out and back, the turn around point next to the State Park, and on the south of the tunnels about 1 mile before turning onto South Fork Rd.
South Fork Rd, Provo River Pkwy, 5200 North & Provo River Trail

Full Marathon Runners will run up South Fork Rd to the South Fork Park and turn around to get back to Vivian Park where Runners will find a small parking lot with the Provo River Parkway Trail Entrance. At South Fork Park there will be a second checkpoint where Full Marathon Runners will collect a second sticker for their bibs. Volunteers and signs will guide you. Runners will stay on the Provo River Parkway Trail until they reach 5200 North. At 5200 North, runners will turn right then right again onto the Provo River Trail. The race will FINISH in the Ron Last Park!
